Steve Garnham, owner of Comprehensive Workplace Training, holds a certification in Pennsylvania as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, NAADAC Master Addiction Counselor, Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Labor Assistance Professional – Certified, and is a qualified SAP. As a SAP trainer, he has provided trainings for qualification and re-qualification for SAPs since 2005. He retired in 2016 from Amtrak where he was an EAP Counselor, serving 15 different Unions as well as management. Previously he worked as the EAP Clinical Supervisor for the US Postal Service, Joint Labor Management EAP in Philadelphia as well as EAP for the Phila Police Dept. as a sworn officer and FOP Lodge #5 member.

Overview of Training:
This training will review the most recent updates to the DOT and the SAP Process. The training will cover the SAP process, the interaction between SAP and various aspects of the DOT regulations as well as the recent technological advance including the FMCSA clearinghouse and remote SAP evaluations.
